Cooking together apart – Bread Sculptures

Until Tue 11 Aug

In this unique Garden Party session, Kids Kitchen will bring you on an expedition to create your own edible inhabitants of Grandad's Island. With simple, easy-to-find ingredients, kids (and adults!) will have a chance to sculpt a bread-y masterpiece. Unleash your inner artist and help craft a new world with your brave explorers!

With lots of things for the kids to smell, feel, and taste, this is a fab sensory activity for the kids. Plus, they'll get to have a go at important things like pouring, mixing and squidging. This way, they'll be learning, having fun and picking up some great kitchen skills along the way.

The sessions are relaxed and run on a ‘bring-what-you-have’ and ‘do-what-you-can’ attitude. Our session leaders are great at offering creative substitution ideas, so there’s no need to worry if you're missing one or two (or five!) ingredients. As long as you've got the basics for the dough, you'll be good to get going.

Get ready for a magical foray into the colourful world of bread sculptures - who knew making lunch could be such an adventure?

Book your place on this session here and find a list of ingredients on the Kids Kitchen website.
