Dao Lu Tai Chi performance & activity

Dao Lu CIC community group will be performing Tai Chi on News From Nowhere Stage. The audience will have some fun by trying Tai Chi for 30 minutes after the performance.

Tai Chi is often called Moving Meditation. It combines deep breathing and relaxation with slow and graceful movements. It is also a “soft” martial arts. It helps people improve balance, coordination and concentration and learn self-defence skills.

Dao Lu CIC is a community group promoting and training Tai Chi in community places, nature reserve and local parks. Dao Lu trains groups such as older people, girls/women and disabled people. Dao Lu runs three weekly sessions in Lloyd Park - Women's Tai Chi Corner on Fridays and Senior Tai Chi Corner on Sundays.
