Forest Fashion Stories

In Artillery’s ‘Grandad’s Island’, staff and students from London College of Fashion (LCF), led by Susanna Cordner (Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Fashion Curation) and Francesco Mazzarella (Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the Centre for Sustainable Fashion) will engage the visitors of the Garden Party in a series of drop-in workshops such as slogan t-shirt design making which will be added to a washing line display that will grow throughout the 2 days of the Garden Party, communally collected and displayed sartorial stories, and a co-created textile fashion map.

All of these activities will explore and demonstrate fashion’s role in our personal, social, cultural lives and encourage sharing of ideas across age groups, communities and cultures.
